Window management on your Mac

TabSash uses macOS Accessibility information, including app and window identifiers, titles, and positions, to group, find, arrange, and switch windows. Group configuration and preferences are stored on your Mac. Window grouping and switching are performed locally.

If you enable Screen Recording permission, TabSash uses window images to show thumbnails. Without that permission, it can show app icons instead. You can revoke Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions in macOS System Settings; features relying on those permissions will then be unavailable.

Website visits

This website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and security providers may process request information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs, and security cookies to deliver and protect the site. Their processing is also described in the OpenAI Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. This website does not add its own advertising or visitor analytics scripts.

Support requests

When you email us, we receive your email address and the content and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate reported issues, and handle requests. Please avoid sending passwords, full payment card details, or unrelated sensitive information. Support correspondence is processed by our email provider, Google, under its Privacy Policy.

Purchases and license activation

Paddle processes purchases and payment information according to its Privacy Policy. We receive order and refund information needed to deliver and manage licenses. Card details are handled by Paddle and its payment providers, not by the TabSash app or our license service.

Our license service runs on Cloudflare Workers and D1. It stores order identifiers, hashed license keys, license status, and random installation and activation identifiers to enforce the two-Mac limit, validate licenses, and revoke refunded licenses. Installation identifiers do not contain your Mac name or hardware serial number. Window titles and thumbnails are not sent to the license service.

Checkout uses browser session storage to keep a license-collection token. The token can retrieve the license for seven days; losing the browser session may require support to recover the key. The app stores trial and license information in the macOS Keychain and periodically contacts the license service to validate access.

The service uses IP-derived, rotating hashed identifiers for short-term rate limiting; it does not store raw IP addresses in its rate-limit database. Expired rate-limit records are removed daily. Cloudflare may separately process request information to operate and secure its infrastructure under its Privacy Policy.

Retention and requests

Local app settings remain on your Mac until removed or reset. Trial and license records in Keychain may remain after uninstalling the app. Order, license, and revocation records are retained to maintain licenses, handle refunds and recovery, and prevent revoked licenses from being reused. Support correspondence is retained as needed to respond to requests, keep relevant support records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting and email providers apply their own retention policies to information they process.

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you have provided. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and any required record retention. Please identify the information involved without sending unnecessary identity documents. Information handled by third-party providers may also be subject to requests through those providers.
